The spacious residents lounge is warm and welcoming with comfortable seating and a woodburning stove as the centerpiece. The lounge is located in the olderst part of the building, the original exposed stone wall being well over 100 years old. Paintings and sculptures by various artists, many local, give a homley feel and add further points of interest to this characterful room.

Our lounge is the perfect place to relax with a book, to chat and catch up with the days events or to plan the next days activities.

We provide a variety of books and maps, many of which are of local interest, we are also happy to suggest local points of interest and excursions.

We are pleased to serve freshly made complimentary tea and coffee for our guests to enjoy at any time in the lounge.
